University of Canterbury tenure review specialist Dr Ann Brower is questioning why there is still so much money in the Government’s coffers for the process. Linz deputy chief executive, crown property, Jerome Sheppard said in a statement a “legislative process” to stop tenure review was under way.  “The tenure review process will not actually stop until legislation is passed in Parliament. We have no timeframe for when this will happen. Until legislation is passed … the commissioner [of Crown lands] and Linz will continue to carry out the review process.”
